12 November – Gold and silver at the World Championships

Last week Sharon Gill and Ishana Moores were in Hungary representing Team GB at the WAKO World Championships. They both fought incredibly well and came away with the silverware to reflect all the hard work they have put in.

Ishana was at her first adult World Championships having represented the Team GB Junior team for years. She really stepped and fought her way all the way through to the final where she narrowly lost a very tough fight. To get a silver medal at her first adult championships is a great achievement and well deserved for someone who trains so hard.

Sharon was aiming for her 7th World title and achieved it in style. She beat all her opponents once again. The standards she continues to set and achieve are the very best and this is shown by winning a remarkable 7th World title.
