1 and 2 February 2025 – Athenes and Northampton

Awesome weekend for Team Bristol.

With two tournaments on the same weekend, the team had to split. So two teams attended two different tournaments. One went to the Northants Open and one to the Athens European Cup.

The Athens European Cup was amazing. The sheer amount of entries for every division was unreal and the standard at its total highest. Top fighters from all over the world competed in one of the top WAKO events.

Well done to the guys that got on the mats and fought amongst of the best out there. The standard really does keep getting better and better. Awesome experience for them and some great fights won all round.

For the Northants Open, an incredible event run by Richard Phillips and his team and an enjoyable day for everyone. Everyone fought amazingly well and gained some great experience.

Thanks to all the coaches and parents that helped run around and coach the team all weekend, both in Athens and Northampton.
